Happy Friday everyone!
Yesterday and today we did a kid-favorite song called Sleep Song.
Everyone goes to sleep during the lullaby section, then wakes up at the alarm and gets ready for school. But watch out because Miss Katie might mistake the children for puppies, porcupines, or bumblebees. And of course, this makes the kids have a giggle-fest.
"Lullaby, and goodnight, won't you sleep, little children?
Sleep all night long, 'til the morning comes along."
"Brrrrrrrring!! Good morning! Good morning! Good morning to you!
Get up and get dressed, and have some breakfast too!
Comb your hair, brush your teeth, it's off to school.
Good morning, good morning, good morning, to you!"
Or "...Won't you sleep, little bumblebees..."
"We're not bumblebees!"

For our group activity today we sang songs and played musical instruments.
We ended by marching like a band in a parade.

After our parade we took a water break and began practicing our play with the scenery!

And the beautiful meadow with all kinds of grass and flowers to make those billy goats fat!
Of course Friday ended with our picnic and play!
With all hands on deck I often fall short with taking photos.
But that's ok ... based on the phones and cameras I saw during the play, I know you all got some.

We are so happy they could join us for some fun with art, music, and nature.
