Hello families!
I love to snatch pictures through the day and give parents a peek at what their kids are up to.
Here's a little look at today.
Every day we start with stories and songs and then move into 45 minutes of free-choice art time. We always have easels set up with paints, crayons, and chalk drawing. We also have 4 other projects that change every day. Today's choices were:
Veggie prints
Lacing cards
Eye masks with a handle
Free play with clay
Emily knows it's the calm before the veggie prints storm.
After our project time we had snack and then headed out for a nature scavenger hunt.
You may have noticed our lists and findings taped to the front table. Next we beaded some necklaces with our first initial cut from leather.
Love all these short 'n' squatty little water bottles. :)
After our water break we listened to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
We will act this out for you on Friday at our family picnic.
Last, we had folk-dance. We learned The Chicken Dance and Floating Down the River.
Floating Down the River has a lovely relaxing verse followed by a whole lot of jumping!
First one child, then 2, 4, 8, 16 and before you know it even the teachers are jumping.
Can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
